Henry Co. R‑I board approves 2024–25 meal prices and student handbooks

Windsor, Mo. — The Henry Co. R‑I Board of Education voted July 11 to set student meal prices for the 2024–25 school year and to adopt parent/student and athletic handbooks for Windsor High School and Windsor Elementary School.
Superintendent Brad Hunter presented the proposed meal prices. The board approved the schedule on a motion by Dr. Jamie Burkhart, seconded by Mr. Scott Swigert; the motion carried 6–0. The approved prices are: high school breakfast $2.35 and lunch $2.75; elementary breakfast $2.25 and lunch $2.65; adult breakfast $3.10 and lunch $4.10. Reduced-price student meals remain $0.30 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch; extra milk is $0.40.
In the same meeting, the board approved the 2024–25 Windsor High School and Windsor Elementary Parent/Student Handbooks and the 2024–25 Athletic Handbook. Dr. Jamie Burkhart moved to approve the handbooks; Mr. Ryan Hoffman seconded and the motion carried 6–0.
Both motions were routine agenda items approved unanimously by the six members present: Mrs. Jennifer Pipal, Mr. Andy Burkhart, Mr. Ryan Hoffman, Mr. Scott Swigert, Dr. Jamie Burkhart and Mr. Jake Drenon. The consent agenda that preceded these votes included payment of bills totaling $157,383.95 and was approved 6–0.
