The Clarksville Community School Corp. board voted unanimously to accept a statement of benefits recognizing Kelly Titus Glover’s completion of a 106-hour Indiana Association of School Business Officials volunteer certification and to provide a $2,000 base salary increase in recognition of her Chief Business Officer credential.
Superintendent Dr. Bennett told the board that Glover completed the required coursework and "has officially earned the credentials and title of Chief Business Officer for Clarksville Community Schools." She recommended the board "recognize her accomplishment and commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning by providing a $2,000 base salary increase for Ms. Glover." The board approved the statement of benefits unanimously.
Glover spoke from the podium and thanked colleagues who supported her through the program, saying, "I've enjoyed it quite a bit and I'm very happy about it." She also thanked specific staff members who assisted her, including Diane.
The board also approved a separate benefits correction for the district technology director (Bobby) to align his vacation accrual with other 12-month directors after staff identified a glitch. Human Resources was assigned to process the payroll and benefits changes.
