Eleanor reported the police department handled 947 calls for service in the month, recorded 55 arrests, issued 183 traffic summonses and responded to 21 motor-vehicle accidents. EMS monthly totals for June 2026 included 181 transports, 63 refusals and 35 mutual-aid assists; Eleanor said the average dispatch-to-arrival time to Runnemede is about 6.76 minutes. The fire department recorded 53 calls in June and 296 calls year-to-date; Eleanor described two June fires — a confirmed kitchen fire at the Metropolitan Apartments on June 14 and an overheated pump motor on Holly Avenue on June 20 — both handled with automatic mutual aid from neighboring departments.
Eleanor also announced that three members graduated from the Camden County Fire Academy with Pro Board firefighter certifications: Daniel Such, Anthony Gatta and TJ Malone. On insurance claims, she said the borough submitted five claims totaling $2,609 and had received payment on three claims totaling $1,542.
