Staff clarified that the sign is an existing nonconforming sign, which is allowed to remain; the commission voted to approve the repainting and reuse of the existing sign and post. The application does not change the sign’s location, and no variance was required for this item.
The approval allows the applicant to proceed with refinishing the sign; no further commission action was recorded.
