Glendo moves ahead on SRF and RD loan applications for water projects

Mayor Pro Tem Heather Schoning, reporting for water and sewer matters, said the town “submitted the initial application for the SRF loan” to support replacement of water meters and renovation of the Downey Well house. She also said the town planned to meet with USDA Rural Development on Feb. 4 to continue loan discussions. In addition, the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) will re-monitor older wells and the town may need to drill an additional well depending on those findings.
