Keith from the clerk's office reported that background checks for an applicant identified as Tyler Coonston with Storm Pro Roofing showed an assault in 2022; staff recommended denial of the peddler's license and told the board the applicant would need a five-year period with a clean record before reapplying. A commissioner moved to deny the license; the motion carried by voice vote with the chair authorized to sign the appropriate documents.
The board then approved two seller and solicitor licenses listed on the agenda, authorized the chair to sign related documents, and approved eight catering permits and alcohol licenses after a motion and second. Commissioners noted these items had undergone the same approval and verification process as other licenses.
Separately, the board approved a concessionaire agreement for Expo Idaho/Western Idaho Fair and three commercial entertainment agreements, and accepted recommendations from indigent services staff for the weekly summary of cases dated 07/07/2026. The board approved meeting minutes for prior meetings as listed on the agenda.
