Glendo council reviews two RFQ submissions for public works upgrade and community center; interviews set Jan. 7

Town Attorney Eric Jones reported at the Town of Glendo council meeting on Dec. 10 that the town received two separate statements of qualifications from Norb Olind Construction — one for a Public Works facility upgrade and one for a design-build of a new Community Center.
The submissions included the original plus six copies and contained company overviews, qualifications, proposed subcontracting plans, relevant experience, certificates of liability insurance, a Wyoming residency certificate, a Wyoming Workforce good-standing certificate and a non-collusion affidavit, Eric Jones said. Staff will contact Eric Peterson, president of Norb Olind Construction, to schedule interviews for Jan. 7, 2026.
Council Member Kelly Jones moved to open the public hearing on the RFQ submissions; Council Member Jeston Cundall seconded and the motion carried unanimously. No members of the public commented during the hearing. After the presentation of materials, Kelly Jones moved to close the public hearing and return to regular session; Jeston Cundall seconded and the motion carried.
The review process will proceed with interviews in January and any subsequent recommendation or contract award will be handled in future council actions, the town noted. The record indicates staff and the town attorney will coordinate the interview schedule and follow-up paperwork.
