Glendo council moves to advertise design-build solicitation for community center, targets April 2026 start

Schoning asked that town attorney Eric Jones review the packet and prepare an advertisement for design-build services to be on the Oct. 15 council agenda. The packet and timeline aim for construction to begin in April 2026 if procurement and contracting proceed on schedule.
No formal vote on awarding or approving a contract occurred at the Sept. 17 meeting; the council directed staff and the town attorney to move forward with the advertisement and related preparations. The old-hotel enforcement matter was deferred pending an appeal to the Wyoming Supreme Court by Ms. Joelson, and council members did not take further action on that item at this meeting.
