Administrator William Kessler told the Village of Anna council on July 9 that a three-year evaluation of the water and sewer plants found no serious violations in the water report but that the village needs to begin identifying land for future water-supply wells.
Kessler said Clean Ohio grant funds may be available to assist the Village in purchasing ground to expand the well field and that a minimum of roughly six acres would be needed for the project. Council did not take a funding vote at the meeting; Kessler was asked to follow up on funding options and provide additional information at a future meeting.
