Council approves consent agenda, signs trails management plan and Bunnvale Well change order; fire department honor tabled

At its Dec. 14 meeting, the High Bridge Borough Council approved a multi-item consent agenda that included grant and contract items and several administrative resolutions.
The council approved Resolutions 270–272, 275–276 and 278–282 by roll-call vote. Council also approved Resolution 273, authorizing execution of the Nassau and Springside Trails System Management Plan with the Township of Clinton, and approved Resolution 274, Change Order 6 for the Bunnvale Well project.
Mayor Michele Lee said the Department of Environmental Protection "wants this management plan in place," and noted Clinton Township may still need to review the plan. Administrator Brett Bartman told the council he has been attempting to contact the DEP regarding the item. Councilman Silvestri asked whether deeds permit bicycle riding; the council discussed reforestation language included in the plan.
Council moved to table Resolution 277 (an item listing "Honoring the High Bridge Fire Department on the occasion of their 125th Anniversary") to the January reorganizational meeting. The minutes do not record the reason for the tabling.
The council also approved the bill list for payment, totaling $1,332,054.93, on a separate motion and roll-call vote.
