During routine business at the Jan. 5, 2026 Lebanon Township Reorganization Meeting, Committee member Beverly Koehler asked that Resolution No. 03-2026 (the 2026 annual meeting schedule) be removed from the omnibus package for separate consideration, asserting she "does not agree with the once a month meeting" and calling the schedule "unfinished business." Township Attorney Mark Roselli advised that the resolution could be adopted and amended later if the committee agreed.
The resolution lists the reorganization meeting on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, and regular meetings generally on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at the Lebanon Township Municipal Building, with calendar dates included: Jan. 21; Feb. 11; Mar. 11; Apr. 8; May 13; Jun. 10; Jul. 8; Aug. 12; Sep. 9; Oct. 14; Nov. 12 (a Thursday); and Dec. 9. The committee agreed to adopt the resolution "as amended" and to continue discussion of meeting dates at its Jan. 21 meeting to allow for additions or changes.
The adoption vote was unanimous. The committee directed the township clerk to publish a certified copy of the annual meeting schedule in the official newspapers and to maintain the schedule on file as required by the Open Public Meeting Act. The Jan. 21 meeting has been identified as the next opportunity for members to propose adjustments to the cadence or dates.
