The committee first adopted Resolution No. 213-2025, authorizing an executive session under the Open Public Meetings Act (N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 40:4-12) to discuss collective bargaining terms. The committee entered executive session at 6:02 p.m. and reconvened in public at 6:12 p.m.
After returning to open session, Mr. Wojcik presented Resolution No. 214-2025, which approves and ratifies the successor collective bargaining agreement between the Township of Lebanon and Hunterdon County P.B.A. Local 386 for the term Jan. 1, 2026, through Dec. 31, 2028. Committee member Abe Abuchowski moved to adopt the resolution; Tom McKee seconded. The motion carried by a unanimous vote of the three members present: Abuchowski, McKee and Deputy Mayor Wojcik.
The resolution authorizes the mayor and township clerk to execute the agreement on behalf of the township upon receipt of a duly executed copy from the P.B.A., and directs that a certified copy of the resolution and executed agreement be transmitted to Hunterdon County P.B.A. Local 386 and the township chief financial officer.
Public comment was opened and closed at the start of the meeting with no speakers. No other substantive discussion or amendments to the agreement were recorded in the meeting minutes.
The meeting adjourned at 6:13 p.m.
