Warren Hills board accepts Business Administrator’s retirement notice, approves slate of hires and coaching stipends

The Warren Hills Regional Board of Education on March 24 accepted a March 17 letter from School Business Administrator and Board Secretary Donnamarie Palmiere notifying the board that she will retire effective June 30, 2026.
During the same meeting the board approved a package of personnel motions that included substitute teacher appointments, acceptance of resignations and retirements, and numerous seasonal coaching and advisor stipend appointments for the middle and high schools. Several personnel approvals were noted as pending final clearance or receipt of required documentation.
Among the roster of appointments were a head football coach stipend for David Sbriscia, multiple assistant football and other seasonal coaches, head and assistant middle-school soccer coaches, and advisor/ensemble appointments for band and color guard. The motions were made by Molly Fraumeni and seconded by Lisa Marshall and passed by roll-call vote as recorded on the agenda.
Following the retirement acceptance the board appointed Jean Hansen as Acting Board Secretary for the second executive session later in the evening.
Many of the personnel motions listed stipend amounts and contract-tier information on the public agenda; the agenda also flagged several approvals as contingent on submission of required paperwork. The administration indicated that conditional hires will be finalized once documentation is received.
