The Isanti County Parks & Recreation Commission approved routine agenda items and accepted a low bid for a Springvale restroom at its April 28, 2025, meeting.
Chair Susan Blom called the meeting to order at 5:04 p.m. The commission approved the amended agenda on a motion from Amy Peterson that Luke Merrill seconded, then approved the March 24 meeting minutes after a motion by Peterson and second by Bob Shogren. The board approved a budget report and the months bills and invoices: the minutes record April invoices totaling $9,028.57. Bob Shogren moved to approve the March 2026 Budget Report, with Amy Peterson seconding; the motion carried. (The minutes record the budget report as "March 2026," which is inconsistent with the April 28, 2025 meeting date noted elsewhere in the minutes.)
Under Other Business, Peterson moved and Merrill seconded to approve the low bid from Pankan & Sons for construction of a restroom at Springvale Development in the amount of $5,190; the motion carried. The minutes record motions as "carried" but do not include roll-call vote tallies.
The meeting adjourned at 6:16 p.m.; the commission scheduled its next meeting for May 26, 2026, at Becklin Homestead County Park (the minutes list that date).
