The Rapho Township Planning Commission on June 1, 2026 reviewed zoning text amendments addressing marijuana cultivation and dispensaries and updates to the agricultural zone, and also considered a draft data center zoning ordinance. After briefings from Township Manager Randall Wenger, Commissioner Carrol Ehrhart moved that the commission support both text amendments; Bryan Balmer seconded and the motion passed with all voting in favor.
Wenger presented the proposed marijuana/grow and dispensary zoning amendments and related agricultural zone updates and then briefed the commission on the draft data center ordinance. During the data-center briefing, Sandra Burke of Barrington Drive requested a copy of the draft ordinance and was provided one.
The minutes record only the commission’s vote to support both text amendments; they do not detail the specific substantive edits under consideration or the next procedural step for adoption. The record indicates the Planning Commission’s support is an advisory action that will inform subsequent township and/or municipal review processes.
