Council approves consent agenda including $1.62 million paving contract and $146,778 maintenance contract

Key approvals included acceptance of Phillips Paving LLC’s base bid for the 2026 annual asphalt repair program in the amount of $1,622,490 and acceptance of Scodellar Construction Incorporated’s bid for the 2026 annual preventative maintenance program for $146,778.84. Council also approved an amendment (modification 4) to the GPD Group agreement for preparation of plans and specifications for the Harper Road diverging diamond interchange project in the amount of $43,000, and authorized a job-creation grant agreement with Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials LLC under the city’s job creation incentive program.

All items in the consent agenda were moved, seconded and approved by roll call under suspension of the rules. The clerk recorded yes votes from councilmembers present.
