The Merrimac Conservation Commission continued a public hearing on Aug. 25 for an application by John Whittemore to construct a retaining wall and patio at 25 West Shore Road after finding the submitted plan insufficient.
The minutes state that Whittemore attended and discussed the project, but that the plan drawn by a landscape designer lacked numerous details — including dimensions — required for the commission to complete its review. The commission continued the hearing to give the applicant time to submit a more detailed plan.
At the same meeting the commission approved the minutes of July 28, 2025 (5-0), set its next meeting for Sept. 22, 2025, and adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
