Holden officials flag failing stormwater pipes on 14th Street and set priorities for 20-acre stormwater grounds

Holden — The Board of Public Works reported failing and completely blocked pipes in the city's stormwater field on 14th Street, and the Public Works & Infrastructure Committee told the council it has begun prioritizing work for a 20-acre stormwater tract.

Councilman Miller reported the Public Works Committee had a working session with the city engineer to set priorities for the 20-acre grounds and met with the property owner of 618 E 10th Street to discuss future development and possible floodplain implications.
