The Louisa County Board of Supervisors on July 16 unanimously approved Resolution 202429 to adopt the combined preliminary and final plat for Lot 1 of the Jarett K. Ball Subdivision.
Supervisor Chris Ball moved to approve the resolution; Supervisor Shawn Maine seconded the motion, which carried with all present voting aye. The resolution finds that the plat conforms with state law, county ordinances and the county zoning comprehensive plan and designates the parcel as the Jarett K. Ball Subdivision.
Selena Gerst, the county auditor, was authorized to certify the resolution for recording in the Louisa County Recorder’s office. The resolution text states the platting is "conducive to orderly development" and not in conflict with the county’s road system or zoning plan. The board’s approval was entered on the record and marked for recordation on July 16, 2024.
The action concludes the board’s review of the subdivision application; the auditor’s attestation appears on the county minutes to facilitate filing with the recorder’s office.
