Public Works Director Dale Shipp said he was pleased with the purchases, noting the dump truck has a new bed and hydraulics. Mayor Mike Wright said the trucks appeared to be good purchases, especially since both came in under budget. The minutes note the vehicles were parked in the city hall lot for council members to view.
No formal council action was recorded on the purchases beyond the informational report; staff had authority to complete the purchases under previously approved budgeted items.
