Goode Street solar project scaled back to 27 acres; full submission expected in August

Tyler Garrity of Creighton Manning told the Planning Board on June 24 that the Goode Street solar project has been revised downward: the system area is now about 27 acres versus the previously discussed ~50 acres, keeping the tracker design but reducing the footprint so no variances will be required.
Garrity said interconnection will still be routed toward Middleline Road and plant access will be off Goode Street; equipment pads will be fenced and the project will return with a full submission in the next week or two and seek the Board's consideration in August. Board members noted no initial site visit had been conducted at this specific site and agreed a site visit will be necessary before final action.
The applicant emphasized layout similarity to earlier proposals but confirmed the reduced scale and reiterated that updated materials will be provided with the full package.
