Staff described programming plans and staffing for the teen unit, naming Leah Grable as the coordinator who runs the club's oldest summer group (the "sharks") and will expand teen programming in the new space. The staff member invited supporters to visit the site to see fundraising at work and noted an Iron Chef cooking contest among the teen campers that day.
Speakers raised concerns about site drainage. The staff member said crews had placed protections on storm drains but that the protections "clearly failed," describing heavy runoff that left water near the club. No repair schedule beyond on-site activity and the construction timeline was provided during the meeting.
The meeting did not include a formal vote or motion on the project. Organizers said the building work is moving forward and encouraged continued community support; they did not provide a municipal permit number or an exact contractor name during the update.
