Board approves personnel appointments; alumnus Alonzo Smith praises Linden schools

Smith told the board he attended Linden schools, said he is now at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, majoring in project management, described involvement in ROTC and student government, and thanked the district for the preparation he received.
The board subsequently moved to conclude the meeting and adjourned after recording a final roll call.
