The board recorded attendance of members Steven Zarelli, Kris DuBuque, Tom Mazza, Patrick Whitton and Chairman James Towne. Patrick Whitton moved to approve the minutes from the April 9, 2026 meeting; Steven Zarelli seconded and the board approved the minutes unanimously.
During the meeting Patrick Whitton read and submitted a signed disclosure statement. A motion to enter executive session to discuss the complaint was made by Steven Zarelli and seconded by Kris DuBuque; all members voted in favor. The board later left executive session on a motion by Patrick Whitton, seconded by Tom Mazza, also approved unanimously.
Following the executive session, Chairman James Towne moved that the acting secretary contact the complainant to request the properly executed sworn statement; the motion was seconded by Patrick Whitton and approved by all members. The transcript records that Mr. Zarelli read a statement to the board regarding the complaint; the text of that statement was not included in the public minutes.
The meeting was adjourned on a motion by Tom Mazza, seconded by Patrick Whitton; the board adjourned at 5:50 p.m. The minutes are signed by Carol A. Gumienny, Acting Secretary.
