Old Westbury Planning Board approves two single‑family applications, continues third

Member Eric Kaltman moved and Member Ruth Cooper seconded approval of the minutes from the April 6, 2026 regular meeting; the motion carried. The Board then considered three separate residential applications.
The Board approved an application from Jonathan and Tania Rocchio to construct a new two‑story dwelling at 6 Bostwick Lane, which includes a new driveway, an inground pool and entry piers with no gate. The approval was made on a motion by Member Eric Kaltman, seconded by Member Ruth Cooper; the Board recorded that written approval will follow subject to submission of a revised landscape plan package.
Separately, the Board approved the Worrell Group LLC’s Lot 4 proposal at 79 I.U. Willets Road for a new two‑story single‑family dwelling with an attached three‑car garage, driveway, entry piers and gate, pool, trellis, tennis court, walkways and drainage systems. That approval was conditioned on a Nassau County 239‑F referral/approval; written approvals were noted to follow once the county referral is resolved. The motion to approve was made by Member Eric Kaltman and seconded by Member Ruth Cooper.
The Board continued the application submitted by Khalida and Rahimullah Mashriqi for work at 35 Applegreen Drive. The proposal described additions and alterations including a new garage, a new bedroom suite, a prayer room, a lower‑level indoor pool/gym, brick walls and a slate roof; the Board voted to continue the application (motion by Member Eric Kaltman, seconded by Member Ruth Cooper) for further consideration.
The meeting record notes that final written approvals and conditions will be documented in follow‑up correspondence and that a stenographic transcript is on file. The Board adjourned at 7:47 p.m.
