The Moultonborough Zoning Board of Adjustment reviewed and accepted two Notices of Decision and the Board's Determination regarding Bald Peak Land Company (180 Bald Peak Drive), approving editorial and substantive corrections where needed and authorizing Chair Bob Stephens to sign the documents.
Member David McDonough identified corrections to the documents: one heading should read "the Board's Determination made on March 18, 2026" rather than "Notice of Decision," deletion of an approval-expiration condition in a document where no variance was granted, and removal of other conditions that followed the board's March 18 discussion. After amendments, a motion (Mike Mills; seconded by Nicholas DeMeo) to accept the two Notices of Decision and the Board's Determination as amended and to authorize the chair to sign and direct staff to mail the notices passed 5-0.
Town Planner Charles H. Wise provided an update on a revision of the Zoning Board's Rules and Procedures. The draft uses the Planning Board's revised procedures as a reference; proposed changes aim to strengthen conflict-of-interest provisions, clarify the Board's self-governance, and address regional impact review. The draft will be circulated to the chair and vice chair for review before the next meeting, and a full draft will be presented at that meeting.
The board then moved to adjourn; the motion passed 5-0 and the meeting ended at 7:54 p.m.
