The Rochelle Park Board of Education on April 15 awarded a $468,000 contract to Reiner Group Inc. to upgrade HVAC equipment at Midland School, the board president announced.
The board’s resolution (F6) records a lowest responsive base bid of $301,300 for upgrades in SGI classrooms and the steam lab, plus an Allowance #1 of $20,000 (total $321,300), with an add alternate of $146,700 for additional upgrades, bringing the total contract amount to $468,000. The resolution says the project will be funded 40% through an SDA grant ($172,305.60) and 60% with Capital Reserve ($295,694.40).
