The Township’s department reports on July 23 included financial receipts, public‑safety equipment updates and a community event notice.
The tax collector reported June collections of $27,437.69 and a listed new rate of 2.982; the meeting record also states ‘‘local rate remained same - .054 increase’’ without further clarification in the minutes. Clerk Maryalice Brown reported June miscellaneous collections of $6,234.35, noted the next regular meeting is scheduled for Aug. 27, 2025, and recorded the June OPRA report.
Chief C. Stopero provided the public‑safety update: a township UTV is now lettered and in service, and the Farmer’s Market has been successful this season. Stopero also announced a "Touch a Truck" event to be held Aug. 3 at Evergreen Dairy Bar. Public works staff reported routine maintenance including repair of a mower and upkeep of the township yard.
During committee comments Committeewoman Mull said the New Jersey State Police has maintained a good presence in town and caught illegal racers from Philadelphia. Committeeman Herndon raised persistent internet issues affecting one grid and said he has not been able to get answers from Verizon. Mayor DeGroff apologized for missing the prior meeting, said a meeting with Senator Tiver went well, and indicated he will not attend the August meeting.
The public did not deliver comments during the meeting. The Committee adjourned at 7:11 p.m.
