Earlham Human Resource Committee approves 2026 personnel policy revisions, tables library manual

The Human Resource Committee of the City of Earlham met Monday, Nov. 10, 2025, at Earlham City Hall and approved revisions to the city’s 2026 Personnel Policy Manual while tabling the Library Policy Manual for 2026 until committee members and the Library Board can confer.
Chair Miller called the meeting to order at 6 p.m.; members Mudge and Fredericksen answered roll. Fredericksen moved, and Mudge seconded, to approve the meeting agenda; the motion passed by unanimous roll call.
On the Personnel Policy Manual, Mudge moved and Fredericksen seconded a motion to approve the revisions and to provide the revisions and feedback to “Ahelers and Cooney” (transcript spelling) for incorporation. The motion passed on a unanimous roll call. The committee’s action directs staff to forward the committee’s suggested changes to the named recipient for finalization.
The committee then took up the Library Policy Manual for 2026. Mudge moved and Fredericksen seconded a motion to table the Library Policy Manual until the Committee and the Library Board can meet; that motion also passed unanimously, deferring any final approval.
With no further business, Mudge moved and Fredericksen seconded to adjourn; the committee adjourned at 6:58 p.m.
