The board carried the finance block (F1–F20) by roll call vote 7–0 (motion: Ms. Jacob; second: Mr. DeFalco).
Several contracts and renewals affecting the district’s technology and transportation budgets were also approved. The board renewed a one‑year SonicWall Advanced Gateway Security Suite subscription for $3,251.93 (Account #11-190-100-340) and approved a three‑year Cisco Meraki Wi‑Fi license renewal through CDW‑G for $10,214.45 (Account #11-190-100-340). The district approved an agreement with the South Bergen Jointure Commission for coordinated transportation services for 2025–2026 and a Maywood Board of Education proposal to provide transportation for softball and baseball teams at $55.00 per hour plus a $65.00 fuel charge per trip (Account #11-000-270-517).
The board also approved multiple tuition rebills to regional special‑services providers and contracts for out‑of‑district related services (Region V) for individual CST cases, including a contract not to exceed $6,250 for one student’s combined extra therapies (speech, OT, counseling) where specified session counts and per‑session rates were listed.
What happens next: the district will present the budget at the April 29 hearing, allowing public comment before the board votes to adopt the budget on May 6. Financial documents referenced at the March 25 meeting remain available in the district’s public records per board procedure.
