It also directs that any agenda amended after initial posting be marked with the word “Amended,” identify the amended provisions, and be posted not less than 24 hours prior to the meeting.
House File 2490 was signed into law by Governor Kim Reynolds on May 15, 2026, and the resolution cites the legislation and amendments to Iowa Code Chapters 21 and 22 as the basis for the county’s action. The board voted unanimously to adopt Resolution 2026-48.
