Earlham council approves consent agenda including CDs, library reappointments and Casey’s liquor license

At its Dec. 8 meeting the Earlham City Council unanimously approved the consent agenda, which bundled routine items for a single vote. The consent package included the Nov. 10 meeting minutes and HR committee minutes, the Treasurer’s Report and Claims and Receipts Report for Dec. 8, and the approval of two bank certificates of deposit: a Water Deposit CD for $17,687.69 maturing Dec. 13, 2025, and a Gendler CD for $56,955.32 maturing Dec. 14, 2025.
The council also approved reappointments of Todd Weber and Catherine Mullin to the Library Board with terms ending Dec. 31, 2030, and approved issuance of liquor license #LE0002323 (Class E retail) for Casey’s. Nelsen moved and Fredericksen seconded the consent agenda approval; the vote was unanimous.
These consent actions were presented together and adopted without separate discussion recorded on the minutes.
