The resolution includes two express conditions: (1) the annual administrative fee paid by Rockleigh to Northvale shall be 10 percent of the contract amount and in no case exceed $2,500; and (2) Northvale must provide Rockleigh with a copy of the Northvale Fire Department’s Rules, Regulations and Operational Policies as referenced in the agreement.
Borough Attorney Robert T. Regan confirmed the agreement term is eight years. Council discussion following the vote noted that Northvale requested Rockleigh keep its pumper truck in the Rockleigh firehouse as part of operational arrangements; the parties will exchange certified copies and finalize signatures following certification and transmittal of the resolution.
