Separately, the board passed a time-sensitive resolution nominating Beth Aller for the 2026 Virginia School Boards Association School Board Clerk of the Year award; the resolution will accompany official nomination materials submitted to the VSBA.
Next steps: several items approved on July 7 (personnel actions, the CIP adoption and the clerk nomination) move into implementation or administrative follow-up; the school division said it will return to the board with related details as required at future meetings.
