The Star City Council approved two ordinances on March 17 that add unincorporated land to the city and establish zoning classifications.
Council moved to suspend the full-reading requirement under Idaho Code §50-902 so the two ordinances could be considered by title. The council then voted to approve Ordinance 430-2026 (Longbow Subdivision annexation and rezoning of roughly 7.78 acres owned by Timberwolves Holdings, establishing residential and neighborhood commercial zones under a development agreement) and Ordinance 435-2026 (annexation of roughly 0.15 acres owned by Sean Sundwall, establishing R3 residential zoning). Council discussed the 0.15-acre parcel as a small sliver being added to private property and not intended for immediate development.
Both ordinances were moved, seconded, and carried by roll call with all present members voting 'Aye.' The mayor declared the motions carried. No amendments or conditions beyond standard filing and effective-date language were recorded in the meeting transcript.
Next steps: certified copies of the ordinances will be filed as provided by law and the ordinances take effect per the language adopted at the meeting.
