Trustees approve $2,100 rent disbursement from Helen K PRF Fund; prepare for audit

The Trustees of the Trust Fund in the Town of Atkinson voted 2-0 on Feb. 12, 2026, to approve a $2,100 disbursement from the Helen K PRF Fund to Lewis Builders/Lewis Apartments to cover rent for February and March 2026 for an elderly resident, and said they have gathered requested materials for an audit scheduled the week of Feb. 23, 2026.
The trustees noted the Board of Selectmen (referred to in the minutes as "BOS") approved the disbursement at its Feb. 9, 2026 meeting (the minutes record that action took place in the non-public portion of that meeting). The trustees recorded a 2-0 vote to make the disbursement and transferred the $2,100 from the Helen K PRF Fund to the Town of Atkinson General Fund on Feb. 12; the transfer was to be processed on Feb. 13, 2026.
The trustees also discussed compliance filings and next steps for the town's accounts. They said they will work to complete MS-9 and MS-10 forms for filing with the NH DOJ and confirmed they have gathered the information auditors requested ahead of the audit scheduled for the week of Feb. 23, 2026.
Members present at the meeting were Danielle Zeyher, Trustee Chair, and Chris Tardif. The Trustees of the Trust Fund adjourned at 11:28 a.m. The minutes do not record individual motions or who moved and seconded the disbursement motion beyond the recorded 2-0 approval.
