The vendor name cited was Brown Equipment Company, which staff said has supplied other town equipment. Staff warned that standard lead times for new units could push delivery to February 2027 if the council does not act quickly to express intent to purchase a unit currently on the assembly line. Council members expressed general support for signaling interest so staff could pursue a purchase but did not take a formal vote during the meeting.
