The Lynnfield Planning Board voted April 29 to endorse an Approval Not Required (ANR) plan to effect a property boundary swap between 5 Bryant Street and 40 Chestnut Street after a homeowner said fences were encroaching across the two lots.
Homeowner Robert Berman of 40 Chestnut Street told the board that fences were encroaching on both properties and proposed a swap "so that the existing fences will be on the appropriate properties." Planning & Conservation Director Emilie Cademartori confirmed to Chair Page Wilkins that, now that neighbors had agreed, outstanding issues had been resolved.
Member Brian Charville moved to endorse the ANR; Clerk Edward Champy seconded the motion, and the board voted 4‑0 to carry the endorsement.
No appeals, conditions, or additional restrictions were recorded in the meeting minutes. The ANR endorsement clears a local planning‑board level step; any further recording or deed work will occur through standard land‑recording procedures.
