Alice High senior urges council to back student attendance campaign

He said Alice Independent School District students are advancing to state competitions and argued that steady attendance helps build the local workforce and business attraction.
The mayor and council thanked Garcia for the presentation. The council did not take formal action on the PSA; the comment was entered during the public-comment portion of the meeting.
