A resident contacted the commission seeking assistance in resolving an unemployment assistance issue for a disabled spouse. The commission referred the resident to the Massachusetts Office on Disability, the Disability Law Center, and Legal Aid to seek legal and administrative help.
Commission minutes also note a complaint about a Unitil gas meter and bollard installation on Putnam Street. Review in the minutes found passing space was sufficient but that the surfacing around the installation was left in rough condition; Amy LeBlanc was asked to investigate the installation and follow up.
Separately, the commission recorded an issue with the sidewalk in front of Sabourin Hardware; DJ Tardiff said he would contact the ward councilor to raise the matter with city officials.
