The board approved purchasing solar salt from the Walworth County Highway Department (minutes record an extra charge making the salt approximately $120/ton) and authorized a $900 purchase of calcium chloride from Richmond Ind. for slurry operations.
Under stormwater and grounds, the board approved a $3,250 contract with Arborico Nursery Services of Walworth to mow and mulch four areas including three retention ponds and a stretch along Howard Street. These approvals aim to maintain street operations and stormwater functionality while addressing equipment lifecycle and procurement.
