Walworth board delays Flock camera decision until 2027 budget; discusses Fire/Rescue billing

Board members noted that the regional average fee for a call is $1,716.67 while the Village currently charges $725.00; the board placed billing services and possible rate changes on the next General Services agenda for further review. The minutes also record a separate operational note that typical transport times have averaged 10+ hours.
Trustees also received a police report noting officer training and routine monthly calls. The board did not make a final decision on surveillance cameras; staff was directed to address funding and budget placement during the 2027 budget season and to return any billing-rate proposals to General Services for detailed review and recommendation.
