In project updates Mike said the authority received a grant (transcript: 'grama') of about $68,000 to fund transfer switches at six locations and one portable generator to maintain service during power outages; Mike said a local match may be required. He also reported that the Pine Grove project should be finished this week and that the authority’s asset management plan remains in its previously reported status.
Board members used authority-member time to thank staff and to reiterate concerns about the ongoing Exit 1 sewer problem and worker safety in high heat. The meeting concluded after unanimous approval of adjournment.
