Warrens board approves operator licenses, schedules road closure for Sept. 27 event
Summary
The Village Board approved operator licenses for three applicants, asked the president to follow up on Big Mo’s opening, and accepted a Department of Public Works request to close the road in front of the Town of Lincoln Fire Department on Sept. 27, 2024, from 8–11 p.m.
The Village Board of Warrens approved operator licenses for Jeffrey Stange, Tina Johnson and Brianna Handel at its Sept. 10, 2024 meeting, and asked President J. Krultz to follow up on the status of Big Mo’s. The minutes record the operator licenses were approved by motion of T. Swope, seconded by A. Werner; the motion carried.
Department of Public Works reported and received approval to close the road in front of the Town of Lincoln Fire Department on Sept. 27, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., according to the committee reports recorded in the minutes. The planning/zoning board held a brief working meeting before the board meeting; the sign ordinance was the subject of a working session at 5:30 p.m.
The minutes also note USDA requested a copy of the 2022 WWC audit by Sept. 30, 2024, and that office administration discussed renaming Warrens Park; President J. Krultz will provide information to Selena Meachyum. No formal action on park renaming was recorded.
