NASHVILLE — In the final moments of the 114th General Assembly’s House floor session, members adopted a series of resolutions, including SJR 11 82 honoring Glenn Jacobs, and moved procedural business necessary to adjourn the session.

The Speaker then appointed a committee to inform the Senate and another to inform the governor the House had completed its business.
Representative Chisholm presented House Resolution 297 to commend Representative G.A. Hardaway for his service; the House adopted the resolution with members listed as co-prime sponsors. In a mix of ceremonial remarks and brief member introductions, dozens of representatives offered personal comments and recognitions before the final procedural motions.
