West Baraboo board approves two-lot survey map, fee-schedule change and $267,314.56 pay application; enters closed session on personnel

The Village of West Baraboo Full Board on Sept. 12 approved a series of routine land‑use and administrative measures, including a two‑lot certified survey map, an intergovernmental memorandum of understanding on taxi service and a final contractor payment for more than $267,000. The board also entered a closed session for personnel evaluations before returning to open session and recommending Village Board approval of items discussed there.
The board voted unanimously to approve a two‑lot certified survey map for property owned by the William E. & Margery A. Ramsey Living Trust at S4339 Fox Hill Circle, subject to conditions in the Zoning Administrator's memo dated Aug. 29, 2024. The motion was made by Allen and seconded by Bowers.
Trustee Bowers moved, and Bothell seconded, a motion to approve a two‑year Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Baraboo intended to foster improved taxi service in the community; the motion carried unanimously. The MOU is for a two‑year period and was described in the minutes as intended to improve and coordinate taxi service between the village and city.
The board appointed Bill Clary to serve as the local representative for the Sauk County Hazards Mitigation Plan Update. The motion to appoint Clary was moved by Allen and seconded by Bowers and was recorded as carried unanimously.
The board adopted Resolution 24‑15 amending the Village of West Baraboo fee schedule (moved by Mohar, seconded by Vlcek). The minutes record the motion as carried unanimously but do not list the fee changes in the meeting text.
The board approved DL Gasser Construction pay application #1 (Final) in the amount of $267,314.56 (moved by Bowers, seconded by Bothell). The minutes record the payment approval as carried unanimously.
