DDA reappoints executive committee and elects FY27 officers

The Downtown Development Authority on July 8 reappointed its executive committee and approved officers for fiscal year 2027 by voice vote.
The chair opened the annual meeting and put forward a resolution to reappoint the DDA executive committee; the motion was seconded and approved after brief positive remarks about the committee’s work. A board member said of the nominees, “Everybody can do a great job. Appreciate all the extra work you do.” (Committee member)
Nominations for FY27 officers followed. The chair nominated Elizabeth Berry for treasurer; the nomination was seconded, drew member support and was approved by voice vote. A Committee member said, “I strongly support it. I think she’s done a great job.”
A nomination for vice chair was made for Mike Micklawn. The chair and other members thanked him for his service and the nomination was approved by voice vote. Tyler Kinley and other members then nominated Micah Bartelmi for board chair; members praised Bartelmi’s past service while noting the board should plan for a future transition. Bartelmi was approved to serve again as chair by voice vote.
All votes reported in the record were taken by voice; no opposing votes were recorded on the reappointment or officer elections.
The annual meeting then adjourned.
