Bill 3712 authorizes Task Order 4 to survey 9th Street for a right‑of‑way dedication; staff said the street along the southern border of a middle‑school property had never been officially dedicated, and dedicating the right‑of‑way would clear a potential obligation if a property donation and housing project move forward. The council moved, seconded and approved the task order.
Separately, the city clerk explained a records disposal item on the consent agenda: the current batch includes 107.25 cubic feet of documents spanning January 1995 through April 2018. The clerk said more batches will be brought forward and that the city plans to hire a shredding truck to destroy disposed records once approved.
