Queenstown schedules June 13 work session to review draft budget

The Town Clerk reported current fund balances: General Fund $165,578.52; Water/Sewer Fund $189,758.58; and ARPA Fund $591,986.29. Finance Chair Pat Bowell had reviewed the draft budget with staff and indicated it is ready for Commissioner review.
Minutes from the May 14 regular meeting were tabled because only one commissioner who attended that meeting was present to vote. The transcript also records a motion related to the May 20 work session with Commissioner Bryon Callahan recorded; the item was noted on the agenda for disposition.
Commissioners did not adopt the budget at the May 28 meeting; they scheduled the June 13 work session to review the draft and take any next steps toward introduction of a budget ordinance.
