At the Feb. 26 regular meeting, Patrick Belzner presented three possible options for the future of 6915 Main Street: subdivide the lot into three parcels and provide the town with one parcel for an easement to serve another parcel; transfer lots 2 and 3 to the town; or reconfigure lot 2 to create an easement to benefit the Charity parcel while adding some of lot 2 to lot 3. Belzner said the town previously had discussions with a prior owner and that the town needs to determine how to proceed concerning an existing water/sewer line agreement tied to the prior owner.
Commissioners did not make a decision at the meeting and said they would continue discussions with Belzner and review the water/sewer line agreement and potential easement impacts. No vote or financial commitment was recorded in the minutes.
